Autism Day

Autism Day is Saturday, April 24, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at New Town High School (a Baltimore County public school). This event is sponsored by the Autism Society of Baltimore- Chesapeake and BCPS office of Special Education. The cost is $20 and includes breakfast and lunch.
Keynote speakers include:
• William R. Stixrud, neuropsychologist and author of Plain Talk About Early Education and Development
• Carol Kranowitz, teacher and author of The Out of Sync Child
There will be additional sessions on a variety of relevant topics. Also, a panel of teens with autism spectrum disorder will share personal stories. A full description of the day’s offerings is available at www.bcc-asa.org — click on Honestly Autism Day.
