2012 Stoneleigh STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Fair

If you like to learn about the scientific method, get prizes, and have fun, you should participate in the STEM Fair!

Everything you do has some science in it.  Do you like to cook?  There is chemistry in that.  Do you like to play ball?  There’s physics in that.  Do you like computers?  Computer Science might be your thing.  Find something you like, then ask a question.    “How does that happen?”  “What might change how it works and why?”  Put on your thinking caps!

Parents are will be invited to an Information Night on a future date to learn more about Stoneleigh Elementary’s annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair.

 This meeting is a great opportunity to learn how to assist students in coming up with a science project. There will be a lot of information, terrific ideas, demonstrations and examples of projects, plus a chance to get your questions answered.

Fourth and fifth grade students are strongly encouraged to participate in the STEM Fair, and students in all grades are welcome.
